Will Writers

We may well have mentioned it before but we warn clients in respect of the appointment of Will Writers as opposed to instructing Solicitors. Clients quite often believe that Will Writers will be cheaper than Solicitors as Solicitors can be very expensive, which is true. We charge a standard £190 + VAT for a Will and we know of no Will Writers that charge less than that.

In addition, Will Writers give specific advice in respect of the Will itself. They do not consider issues relating to family provision which might render a Will ineffective, nor do they consider divorce or insolvency issues, which are matters that Solicitors always factor into the advice.
