The Inland Revenue are bringing into force regulations requiring that solicitors are regulated for the purpose of stamp duty land tax (SDLT) advice and assistance to conveyancing purchase clients. That will come into force and the date to be confirmed in the spring of this year.

 

At Almy & Thomas we have significant experience in SDLT and already provide detailed advice to clients on stamp duty, whether it’s  a straightforward purchase, first time buyer, purchasing a buy to let, or commercial purchase.
