We need to remind residential landlords that there are a number of hurdles to cross before the Court will now accept a Section 21 accelerated possession claim as a result of the Deregulation Act and its amendments.


The law in due course is due to change in any event to give further protection to tenants from eviction on two months’ notice.


Almy & Thomas can advise residential landlords as to the requirements for an accelerated possession claim to be successful. We normally charge fixed costs on an application of £500 plus VAT and Court Fee
